ECA Solar, in partnership with Luminace, today announced the successful energization of a 3 MW community solar project in Salisbury, Maryland. The project represents continued expansion of clean energy infrastructure on Maryland’s Eastern Shore and reinforces both companies’ commitment to advancing community solar across the state.

The Salisbury project will provide locally generated renewable energy to Maryland residents and businesses through the state’s community solar program, supporting energy cost savings and statewide decarbonization goals. The project is expected to generate enough clean energy to power approximately 450+ local households annually.

“I’m proud to share that we have officially interconnected a Maryland community solar project on the Eastern Shore,” said Jack Rowland, Development Manager at ECA Solar. “This milestone reflects a tremendous team effort, and I’m grateful to our partners and colleagues who helped make it possible. I’m excited to build on this momentum and bring an additional 20 MW online this year across the state of Maryland.”

Maryland remains a key growth market for ECA Solar and Luminace, supported by strong community solar demand and a stable policy framework. With additional projects advancing, the company continues to expand its footprint as it scales its operating portfolio across the state.
