Project Overview
Completed in 2025
The Salisbury Community Solar Project marks a major milestone for ECA Solar as our first completed development in the state of Maryland. Located in Wicomico County, this 3.03 MWDC community solar site is fully built and ready to deliver reliable cost effective clean energy to the local community.
Designed to support Maryland’s long term sustainability and affordability goals, the system is expected to generate approximately 5 million kilowatt hours of clean energy each year. This annual production is enough to power roughly 450 homes, helping expand access to renewable energy for households across the region.
The project reinforces ECA Solar’s commitment to responsible development and continued investment throughout Maryland. From early coordination to final buildout, this effort was supported by strong collaboration with local partners, landowners, and community stakeholders who helped bring the project to full completion.
As ECA Solar continues to grow our footprint in Maryland, the Salisbury project sets the foundation for future community solar development that delivers meaningful economic and environmental benefits for residents across the state.
